Setting up

forecast scoring

Confido supports Brier scoring for binary questions. Set it up with a few clicks.

Go to room settings

Scoring is done on a per-room basis. You need to configure a given room for scoring.

Configure score time

Confido allows users to continously update their forecasts. For the purposes of scoring, you need to choose a specific point in time from which predictions will be considered. Updates made after that time will not affect scoring.
While it is possible to set up score time for each question separately, usually, it is easiest to configure a default score time for the whole room.

Enable scoring

Now you can enable scoring for the room and choose who will be allowed to see the scoreboard. The scores will be visible only after the score date and after the questions have been resolved.

Make predictions

Now you can invite participants to make predictions on your questions.

Resolve questions

Once predicting is done and answers are known, you can mark the questions as resolved. Most likely this will be after the score time so this will make the scoreboard visible to whomever you configured.

See the results

You can see the scoreboard on the Score tab on the room page.
